The Tempest (featuring: Susan Newman’s “A Sea Change Suite”)
In 2014, the imminent transformation of the former Mount St. Joseph inspired composer Susan Newman to write a suite of songs for the Convivio Chorus. Her compositions were drawn from the text of Shakespeare’s The Tempest with its theme of the constancy of change. “A Sea Change Suite” was performed to great acclaim at Public Energy’s extraordinary festival Erring On The Mount.
Mysterious Entity hopes to incorporate this choral work into a multi-disciplinary version of Shakespeare’s play.
